The first Ferrari Racing Days in Japan took place at the Suzuka Circuit, with
the weekend seeing owners involved in the non-competitive F1, FXX and 599XX
programs. The special event groups together the races for the entrants in the
Asia Pacific series of the Ferrari Challenge Tofeo Pirelli and the track
sessions for clients involved in the XX and F1 Programs whereby the world's
first shakedown of 599XX evolution package had its first appearance in Japan.
Already the fruit of the very finest Ferrari road car and Formula 1-derived
technology, the 599XX EVO features improved chassis dynamics thanks to an active
aerodynamic package integrated with the vehicle' electronic control systems, and
the adoption of new Pirelli tires. The car is also more powerful than before
(750 hp) and weighs 35 kg less.
Over 600 Ferrari's and over 21,700 owners and fans enjoyed the world of Ferrari at Suzuka.
