Port Adriano (Mallorca) sees today the launch of the 'Maserati Drive&Sail
Experience'. An exclusive event dedicated to a selected number of guests, the Maserati experience combines a thoroughbred of the sea and one of the road.
Guests will enjoy the unique opportunity to sail on board the Maserati VOR 70, a
70ft monohull skippered by Giovanni Soldini (twice winner of the Around Alone)
and to drive the latest models in the Maserati Range, including the new Maserati
GranTurismo Sport.
Four Maserati models will strut on the catwalks of the most glamorous ports of
the Mediterranean Sea: Port Adriano (Mallorca), Marina de Ibiza (Ibiza) and
Yacht Club de Monaco (Principality of Monaco). Together with the GranCabrio
Sport and the new GranTurismo Sport, the GranTurismo MC Stradale (the only
two-seater vehicle in the Maserati range) and the Maserati Quattroporte Sport
GTS luxury saloon will take pride of place next to the Maserati VOR 70.
The 70ft superyacht will be moored on the main pontoon in Port Adriano, to be
admired by all sailing enthusiasts until Sunday. This stunning VOR 70,
christened with the name of the Italian Marque, is one of the fastest monohulls
in the world, featuring a 20-meter carbon fiber mast and a movable keel.
This fascinating experience will be conducted by professional driving
instructors for the driving side, and by skipper Giovanni Soldini, a true legend
in the sailing world, so emotions will be granted.
After the newly opened Port Adriano (designed by Philippe Starck), the "Maserati
Drive&Sail Experience" will move to Marina de Ibiza (June 30 - July 1) one of
the most exclusive and modern ports in the Mediterranean. The event will finish
in September at the Yacht Club de Monaco (Principality of Monaco).
