With a time of 1:10.87 on the Hockenheimring in Germany, the MINI John Cooper Works Coupé-based AC Schnitzer Raptor put the competition in its place in a direct comparison.

The comparison has taken place at the annual "Tuner Grand Prix" hosted by the German magazine sport auto. The little sports car beat all the other MINIs and the likes of Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG, Lamborghini Gallardo Superlegerra, Porsche 911 Turbo S and other heavyweights.

The Raptor has been heavily modified by AC Schnitzer. The engine power has been increased from 211 hp (155 kW) to 300 hp (221 kW) and the vehicle weight was simultaneously reduced by more than 220 lbs (100 kg).
