The Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic is designed for drivers looking for a
granturismo in its purest form. This Maserati coupé provides power, driving
pleasure and space for four adults in an exquisitely finished interior. The
exterior styling by Pininfarina clothes that power and luxury in one of the most
beautiful bodies on the road.
The models in the Maserati GranTurismo
range can be driven every day but they also represent the last word in
performance driving. This winning combination is embodied in the GranTurismo S
Automatic, a vehicle that is fitted with a potent 4.7 liter V8 that produces 433
hp and with a six-speed automatic transmission for effortless driving.
The increased torque, mostly felt at low-mid range, together with the six-speed
automatic transmission, brings out the car's true GT spirit. The Brembo brakes
feature six piston calipers on the front clasping exceptional dual-cast discs, a
setup where the cast iron rotors and aluminum hubs are cast as a single piece to
lower weight but still deliver consistent performance even at high working
temperatures.
On-board comfort is delivered by the Skyhook damping system
that adjusts automatically according to the road conditions.
The
Visual Message of Performance
The Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic is
built like an athlete. Although it maintains the purity of the original car's
lines, the new Modenese coupé catches the eye courtesy of the subtle aesthetic
modifications it has undergone. On the GranTurismo S Automatic new side sills
bring a more dynamic look, rendering Pininfarina's work of art even more
intriguing.
The new 20" wheel rims sport a fresh design with spokes that
mirror the famous Trident logo.
