The well known exhaust manufacturer in the motorcycling circles, Akrapovic, is offering a new exhaust system that improves the performance and sound of the Ferrari 458 Italia. The engine's power output is uprated from 570 hp to 581 hp at 6,370 rpm and the peak torque from 398 lb-ft to 417 lb-ft at 2,400 rpm.

The three-pipe exhaust system from Akrapovic, a company from the exotically small European country Slovenia, but highly successful in motorcycle racing in recent years, also lowers the total mass of the 458 Italia by 30 lbs.
