A Multimedia Package enhances the XC90 V8 with the Volvo premium sound system with Dolby Pro-Logic II Surround Sound, 650-watt amplifier and 12 premium speakers, the Volvo Navigation System with remote control, Real Time Traffic and Map Care, plus a rear park assist camera.

The XC90 V8 receives an impressive dossier of luxurious amenities with standard Sapeli wood inlays, gearshift knob and steering wheel. Also standard are heated front seats, headlight washers, rainsensor windshield wipers and Interior Air Quality System (IAQS).

The XC90 V8's 4.4-liter 32-valve engine is naturally aspirated. Fitted with continuously variable intake and exhaust valve timing (CVVT), it develops 311 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. All-wheel drive with Instant Traction is standard. This traction enhancing system employs computer-controlled Haldex AWD that instantaneously delivers up to 50 percent more torque to the rear axle only when needed, such as during takeoff. A six-speed "Geartronic" automatic transmission is standard on the Volvo XC90 V8.
